The Piano Tuners Ear was invented and developed by Mark Cerisano, RPT, B.Sc.(Mech.Eng.), Dip.Ed.
He began working on it ten years ago when he discovered the number one difficulty that his piano tuning students were having learning to tune pianos by ear - hearing the beats!
This website was created to introduce other piano tuning students who are having the same pain that his early students had back then, and give them hope that they could solve this problem together.
